Jon Baron Releases First TV Ad, Highlights Plan To “Do What Works”

The Baron-Williams campaign hits the airwaves with a high-six figure buy in the Baltimore and DC media markets.

Bethesda, MD (June 13)  — Today, the Jon Baron and Natalie Williams for Maryland campaign released its first TV ad, “Tandem Bike.” The ad will have a high-six figure buy on broadcast, cable, YouTube, Connected TV, OTT and digital in the Baltimore and DC media markets.

“I’m running for governor because, for decades, Maryland hasn’t made progress on key issues such as low student achievement, stagnant wages, and poverty. It’s time to bring bold, proven-effective solutions to Annapolis. Now, we’re excited to bring our message to the airwaves with our first TV ad.”

The ad buy is part of a major paid media investment from the campaign over the next five weeks.

“As this week’s campaign finance report will show, we have the cash-on-hand to compete with better-known candidates during this critical homestretch — and we have the message to beat them. This initial ad buy will allow us to share that message with hundreds of thousands of voters across the state.”
